I love in the comments how someone said that the auto gratuity should be removed for 100k plus bills. My attitude...if you can afford to spend 100k on alcohol, you can afford to tip 18%

What the Hell, someone got screwed with the 2 coors lights on a tab like that. Nothing against coors, just with all the options and money going around, they got screwed. BTW, 18 percent on the 1 Bot Aca Midas $100,000 is Bull :D. No way would I consider paying that for someone to walk out to the table once.

what makes you think she only walked to the table one time? The drinks don't pour themselves. If they willing to spend that much on alcohol that the service charge couldn't have hurt them too badly.

Are we seriously about to argue about tips on $100,000 bar tabs? :D

I was talking about that one drink on that part of the tab. Example if I was rich and I actually spent 100,000 on that 1 Bot Aca Midas $100,000 I still would not pay 18 percent for that one bottle. I guess I am just to dam tight. That was the second time I had to type that part, I lost my first draft.

So the biggest part of the tip is from that 1 Bot Aca Midas $100,000

That is a very good point, two thirds of the bill came from that one bottle. However, if you are dropping $150k on a bar tab, I don't think that another $24k is gonna hurt for the tip.

I know a guy who went on a cruise for a week and ended up with a bar tab higher then the cost of the cruise.

Working as the busboy at the Sand Bar in Houghton, MI...in the early afternoon (there ain't anybody in a fancy bar in the early afternoon at least not in a vacation resort) this guy came in...tossed a thousand dollar bill on the counter (did you know in 1963 they were printed in red ink and the amount was perforated on the bill?) and said..."round for the house..." It came to 185$...he left the change on the bar.. He did it 9 more times. "That's money the bitch and her lawyer aren't getting" and walked out. It might not seem like much...but consider I made 187$ take home at Oldsmobile...for two weeks.
