I was more so referring to the fact that children aren't little kids anymore. It doesn't take a great amount of discernment to see the major appearance shift in the last few years. From birth until past puberty has always been an awkward time, but now with everything from cosmetics, cosmetic alterations to estrogen/testosterone enriched consumables, those children do not look like children anymore. Not to mention the filth of Hollywood fanning the flames of what is perceived to be, by those children, the way they are supposed to be.

The character in she played in the movie doesn't a bit more look 13 than the man in the moon. Same with half the shows on TV with young actors and actresses.

Children aren't children anymore. ...and we wonder why so many are screwed up today. Makes me glad I decided my bloodline ends here by not reproducing. I'm doing the world a favor in more ways than one.

We do not allow our 9 yo to wear, watch, listen, or otherwise engage in inappropriate things. My kids recognize and will say if something that they know is inappropriate is on and will change the channel.

If the parents are going to dress their kids as adults and have them imitating adult like behavior than it lays a great deal of the blame on the parents.

By her videos and website... Her parents gave up on her long ago. She is selling herself off to the highest bidder with her parents consent. I find it offensive, but she's not my kid so it's not my problem.

If the parents cared about her at all they would have given her proper guidance long before now. The failure is not in consenting to the marriage. The failure was many many times when they failed to teach her proper values and self respect. At this point, for this girl, it's either marriage to a guy with a career or porn so maybe this choice is not so bad.

While I am disappointed in the parents, I believe that we all have the freedom to be as stupid as we want to be.

For the actor, how sad for him to not be able to attract a wife that has something to offer other than her body. However, recognizing that he has no other choice but to buy a pretty toy to play with, this was a great buy for him.

I'm not being sexist, but long-ago experience indicates that young women are awfully hard to live with. Most likely young men are hard to live with as well. But I do know that young women can be a hazard to one's sanity.

It is puzzling why an old guy would want to put himself thru that again.

Long ago I recall a beautiful young lady who was 13 and looked 22. Her parents apparently didn't care what she did and she was out clubbing every night. She cut a wide swath. I know for sure that 13 year old gal was eminently marriageable regardless of the calendar age, and would probably have caused (and got into) less trouble had she been married to an understanding supportive guy. Who didn't mind risking his sanity. But a 50 year old man would not have had the energy to deal with that situation. It would require a young man with plenty of time on his hands.

I never dated her. Just saw her around and about well enough to know the situation. A lot of the guys who dated her thought she was as old as she looked.

I am not advocating child marriages. Just sayin...
