S.679 Presidential Appointment Efficiency and Streamlining Act of 2011

This piece of tyranny is up for consideration in the US Senate now. Our Senior Senator is a co-sponsor of the Bill. It will allow the President to appoint an additional 200+ important positions to everything from Homeland security to Dept. of Education and Agriculture without "Advise and Consent" of the Senate.

One has to wonder what was promised to Alexander to get him to co-author this tripe with Schumer?

And life as we know it gets scarier and scarier. Nothing good can come of this.

These are the ones that really scare me:

The Department of Homeland Security’s Director of the Office of Domestic Preparedness

The Treasurer of the United States

Managing Director of the Corporation for National and Community Service

The Office of Management and Budget’s Controller, Office of Federal Financial Management

Director of the Community Development Financial Institution Fund

Any position that deals with controlling money should not be an appointed position. After all those who control the money control the country. The first one can also have far reaching affects during crisis.

The House and Senate are quickly making themselves irrelevant. The President will be running everything. I believe that would be called a dictatorship. And we all know who the dick_tator is.
