My Comcast On-Demand was on the fritz when this thread started and I found out about the show. I spent quite awhile looking for an online source. Didn't find anything except pirate sites I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.

Maybe there is a source online other than pirates and thieves. Dunno. Didn't find one a few days ago.

The Comcast On-Demand started working again, so just watched it thataway.

Yeah, I was looking for a legal source (IE, the main website, possibly). I've got a buddy who has On Demand, so I'll probably just hop over to his house and watch it.

I thought it was pretty good. There were a couple of things that bothered me. I would say that many questions we have about why things are the way they are will be answered throughout the first season. Most of the things I had issues with were about how things would play out in this kind of situation, but that may depend on the setting. I know here, there would be less chance of strict military structure surviving that kind of thing, and if it did there would be a lot more

fighters and a lot less civilians.

I was also bothered by the amount of automatic weapons (seemed to be too many Auto AK's). As for the technology things, I think we might take for granted that interstellar space flight should at least come with all of the advances humans have had to this point. However, previous similar Sci-Fi stories have told us that attackers are generally not prepared for each outcome, so we arrive at the situation that meets that unpreparedness. We have done something similar in the lack of a way to fight guerrilla warfare. There may have been no need for sensitive IR technology on their ships until now (we see at the very beginning that they are realizing this fact).

I think it will be worth watching for at least half a season.

I just yawned thru 3/4 of my DVR from Sunday's premier. A little too so-so for me to invest any more time in it. It's not bad, just didn't knock me over.
