Where to go shooting

Recommended Posts

So I have tomorrow off of work. Im looking to go shooting, early is better. From the look on the Montgomery county shooting complex calander it looks like they won't be open. I haven't seen anything lately from the TN custom gunsmithing range, that and his hours were shotty at best when I knew he was open. I looking for a good 50-100 yard (meter) range to shoot some AR15s and 10/22s, and a 25 yard (meter) range to shoot some revolvers and shotguns. I'm willing to drive about an hour and a half for an outdoor range, I'll be coming from the south side of Clarksville.

So my question to the forum, where can I go shooting at, where I don't need to be a member and can get some good quality shooting in? Does anyone knows if owl hollow allows walk ons, I've only been there for the tgo shoots last year?

Help is appreciated, I really don't want to be bored tomorrow because my wife will talk me into painting the stairwells in the house, and I really don't want to do that.

Charlie will let you walk on at CHMR. It will cost you $5. I've got stuff to do this morning or I would offer to meet you out there.
