I haven't seen any reason to put my business on facebook. Lived a lot of years without it and plan to continue that way.

Robbery shouldn't be an issue if you only "friend" actual friends and set it so that only they can see your posts.

In my particular industry, FB is somewhat of a necessity now - many of my clients use it to communicate with me. My friends list is bloated, but I also don't post personal info on it - I use it as an extension of my business marketing for the most part.

I have posted a few gun photos, but frankly, if any of my friends are offended by that, they aren't really friends of mine so I couldn't care less.

I do love these threads though, they're humorous.

.

Me too. I don't do any marketing, but a huge chunk of my list is business related. In some cases, the best way to chase somebody down is a Facebook PM. My list is over 300. With a very few exceptions, they are all people that I have worked with, hung out with, or both.

BTW... your gun pics don't offend me :D

"I am in the phone book, if people want to friend me they can pick up the phone and call."

O.K. Mike, do I find you listed under .357? I'll call tonight. I need to borrow some cash. ;)
