TN is doing OK, but there's some room to move...

So the Mercatus Center, a center-right think tank at GWU, released their 2011 rankings of how "free" state are, based on both economic and personal freedom. The metrics are explained in detail at the link below. Additionally, the site allows you to re-jigger certain metrics to see how your state would stand - just by moving every choice 1 notch below current policy, TN would come in at #2.

Because of that feature, my big takeaway is that minor changes can make TN a target for investment of capital, and job creation is but 51% of concerned voters away.
