Walmart ammo

Yep! It's going up. I just purchased a 100 round box of .40 WWB from Wal-Mart, and it was $29.XX, after taxes.

With all the ammo being used in the war, just be thankful we can even get ammo these days.

Johnson City Walmart was 19.47 for WWB 9mm OUCH! I went to Dicks and got Remington UMC on sale for 10.00 a box. 45acp was 15 a box.

Shoot anyone remember when you could buy a Norinco SKS and a CASE of ammo for 100 bucks... and that was when I lived in Maryland.

About a month ago Wal-mart had WWB 9mm, $16.42 a box, now it's $18.42 a box and they are out, I'm guessing when we get more in we will be looking at $19.47.

I picked up two 550 rd boxes of Federal .22 LR today from the Walmart. It was 11.97 each. I asked about 9mm and it was 18.47 but they were out of stock.

Heck freakin CCI .22 WMR (maxi mags) are just under $10 for fifty rounds. I can do without them just fine. I mean 20 cents a round???? Crazy

Four months later . . . . . . . the Federal .22lr at Wallyworld has increased to $13.47 a brick. My Wallyworlds have been out for seemingly months, so I stopped off at a Chattanooga ww today at lunch and grabbed a couple. After tax & ammo fee, not much left out of a Jackson and a Hamilton.

I got the last 3 boxes. Went by there this morning to see if they had more in and it is priced 13.47 for the federal & 15.47 for the Remington.

Last time I bought a case of 7.62x39, it was something like $100-109. It's been quite a while.

Makes you miss the good ole days...The year I turned 18 I went to a gun show and bought a Norinco SKS with a case of ammo for $110 bucks...I'm almost crying.
