A lot of money for a bump fire device IMO.

Yep.

SWAT Magazine actually did a write up of this in their recent issue. They said it was counter-intuitive to use (not moving your trigger finger, and pushing the gun forward with the support hand), and they saw no real practical use for it. However, they stated it was fun to use, and a few of their staff actually ordered some for themselves.

I was all about getting one when they first started selling them for $200. But they sold out and the next batch was $250 and when those sold out the next batch was $300. Maybe if the price comes back down but until then I am going to pass.
