York Guns & Ammo in Gallatin now open

Recommended Posts

I stopped by yesterday (they opened Monday) and got a tour from Jerry York, the owner. A good selection of both long guns and handguns. They will be opening their indoor range in about 10 days. It's longer than the G&L range in Hendersonville but a similar setup. Prices looked reasonable. Might be a good place to check out.

Very Nice. I will have to go check this range and shop out next. I've been to G&L and NRange and now i'm getting a little bit bored, so it will be good to have a change. Thanks for the heads up

I wasn't overly impressed by Sumner Guns the last time I was in, but that's been a year or so. Probably need to stop by there and York now, just to see what's going on.

If York and Sumner Guns both complete their ranges, that will be three indoor ranges within a few minutes of each other (those two and the one over at Asherbrenner's), with N Range and G&L Hendersonville not too much further away.

Sumner's moved then since you were there. They're now where the Sears store was behind the Subway and across from Miracle Ford. I was there a month or so ago but their range wasn't finished then. When I was there they were light on inventory but said they were getting more in. I've not checked lately. I didn't get a tour of their range but based upon their range memberships they think it's pretty spiffy.
