I don’t think I have ever heard our legal system called perfect. At least not by those that have experience with it. Don’t get me wrong, there are worse, but ours is nowhere near perfect or is just.

This is one of the only convicted capital murderers i've seen in Shelby county get the death penalty by a Shelby county jury in the several years i've lived in the area. Sad it takes such extreme actions for jurors to hand out capital punishment for capital murder when others for the same offense don't get the death penalty. Punishment, jurors, judges, and prosecutors are weak in Shelby County=high crime.

That is why it says "as perfect as man can get it". Because we are not perfect, neither is our legal system. Never will be but,man, the sky is the limit as far as how much it can improve.
