Though he has entered a plea of not guilty in court, Carlos Bledsoe said in a letter to the judge, “I’m affiliated with al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (al Qaeda inYemen)…This was a Jihadi attack on infidel forces.â€

This guy is going to be convicted no matter where he is tried.

The family's position is that keeping the case out of federal court will make it harder to bring in the FBI agent who questioned their son in Yemen and in Tennessee.

Not if they subpoena him.

Melvin Bledsoe thinks a state court will treat the case as a drive-by shooting and not terrorism. “So much won’t be shown in this trial, what happened in Yemen or what happened in Nashville.â€

And we needto know that because….?

He’ll probably get a lighter sentence than if it’s treatedas terrorism.

The family of Carlos Bledsoe, who is accused of shooting and killing an Army private and injuring another outside a military recruitment center in Arkansasin June 2009, says the FBIhas a lot to answer for in the case -- suggesting the federal government was aware that Bledsoe was a jihadist in training even before the shooting.

Can we arrest a U.S. Citizen before a crime was committed?

I could see that argument coming from the victim’s family. But the father of the shooter is a low life piece of dirt to suggest this was the fault of the FBI. Why didn’t he call the Police if he wanted his son arrested so badly?

Maybe he's concerned that he might not get the 72 virgins if he's not convicted of terrorism charges. Aw, wouldn't that be a shame.

Is Usama Bin Laden getting 72 virgin mermaids? glub glub glub.
