Since there a lot of talk about hog hunting I thought I would share this video. It's long, but if you have time its pretty good. Bet it's not cheap to have those guys come in. Sure would be nice to get paid to do it...

Just think....all those hogs are left to rot instead of feeding the hungry in this country!

The way you just described it... I think most of the hungry people would be ok with this fact. :hyper:

We tried to get the USDA to let us load them up on a truck and get them to the local deer coolers for processing. USDA didn't want the liability of someone eating a sick hog. They don't want sued!

The "shooter" in the video actually wasn't doing a bad job. Considering he was moving and so was his target!

What a waste. I'm all for population control but I wonder how many of those animals had to suffer due to a poor shot.

dude.... you gotta be kidding... THose hogs where more like coachroaches there in Texas.... If they just had a chance to wound one, their doing good.... Im all for eradicating the dam things...Just think of the wasted seed the poor farmers have had to use feeding those things...

No I'm not kidding. I think shooting them and leaving them on the ground or suffering and not fully killing them is not right. Look how many starving families they could have feed with all of them. I understand they do crop and land damage but we are just as bad if we leave them to suffer or leave them to rot and not utilize the animal.

+1. Get rid of them if you need to. But, no animal needs or deserves to suffer.
