"it uses the gas tube to launch the projectile" where do they get this stuff? The gas tube is used to push the bolt back for the second shot. If you remove the gas tube the projectile would still launch. They make it sound like the piston comes into contact with the bullet.

This is the best assumption, since it was leaked by real operators. It's still funny that they would take a modified M4 and turn it into a unique super weapon.

I have it on good authority from an unnamed source in Mansfield, OH that the weapon that killed OBL was actually a Hi-Point 995TSRD.
