So, I traded off my Glock for a Ruger and ended up with a new S&W MP40. Anything neat I need to know about it, such as upgrades etc. ?

Apex Tactical makes some great internals that will really improve the trigger.

2 trigger kits from apex depending on your use/preference

competition kit, will make the trigger about 3.5lb and much smoother

duty carry action kit, same parts but different springs - gives about a 5.5lb pull

or you can use the stock springs with the other parts from the kit and get somewhere in between on the trigger pull

You can get a 9mm barrel and 9mm mags and have a dual caliber shooter. Or you can get a .357 SIG Barrel and use the same mags.

I would start with the APEX kit, install it yourself or have a smith do it. I was quoted $40 to have stuff installed and wrung out.
