the Brownbear has a lacquer coated case and the Silverbear does not according to that link. I would probably go with the sliver bear if it were me but I think either would be fine.

i will probably buy a little and see how it shoots before i throw 200$ out the window ill let you know how good it is when i get some

Both work well. Silver is better quality and easier on the gun. Sellier and belliot makes (or once did?) brass ammo that can be reloaded if you ever decide to go there, its a little higher.

Watch out for any surplus ammo, its not common anymore but it IS corrosive and I strongly advise you to never shoot that, it can be cleaned up after but its just not worth the trouble, and if you miss some of the residue it will rust up your gun.

Silver Bear is the best choice but if it was me I'd shop around more. AmmoToGo shipping charges are outrageous to TN (they are in TX). For example, 10 boxes shipped to Knoxville will incur roughly $21 in charges. That's 20%. 1 box is $10 (100%)!

Actually the 200 rounds that came with my gun is Sellier and belliot brass

Silver Bear, good price from Aim Surplus when they have it in stock. Also Brown Bear, a little dirtier than SB, but shoots fine for me.

If you want some good carry ammo, check out Wholesale Hunter. Best price I've seen on Hornady XTP. I bought a case to share with my son and daughter. Out of stock right now but should get more.

IMO, it's better than Silver Bear, but not by that much (more than twice as much!):

Silver Bear HP: 984 1009 1024 1051 988 1028 1007 Avg 1013 Std Dev 23.48

Hornady XTP: 1028 1018 1042 1024 1050 1002 1010 Avg 1024.86 Std Dev 16.96

(Seven rounds of each, average velocity, standard deviation) All from my CZ-82.

Only place I know that has mags in stock is J&G Sales, and they're not cheap!

Save that brass then. While you can cut down 9mm to fit, its tedious, so saving any real brass is a great thing to do. You can reload it for about $3-4 a box. If you dont care to do that now, just store it away for someday when the ammo is harder to get.
