It sure has been one tough year for our LEO's.

I am quite thankful that these two will survive and that there is one less scumbag sucking on our air.

May the Lord bring the Officer the healing and his family and friends the comfort that they need.

Times are tough for everyone these days and sadly there will likely only be more and more who think that doing these senseless acts of violence will somehow make things better. Why they can not just take their own lives and leave the innocents alone I will never understand.

But I am glad that this punk saved us all the money of taking him to trial and likely having to hear all the details of his life that are presented in such a way to make it sound like doing this type of thing was somehow justified, that type of testimony sickens me.

May God Bless those who walk the front lines of our country's streets.

When society goes to Hell, the cop's job gets

more dangerous. Very sorry they got shot. Much

happier they will be okay. Very glad the suspect

is dead.

I know one of the officers that was shot. He was on my shift at raines station before he came off probation. He was the one shot in the face. He is going to have to have some plastic surgery but other wise is fine.

That's "good" to hear. I mean, it's terrible that he was shot in the face. And it sucks that he needs plastic surgery (hopefully they will be able to do a good job!), but at least he's otherwise fine. Sounds like a pretty good outcome after being shot in the face.
