This is so sad.

I was Praying that the Officer would survive, he was so young and only beginning to live his life, so very sad.

Typing the words that the family and his brothers have my Prayers seems so meaningless right now, but it is all that I can do and it is truly from the bottom of my heart.

Tragic,

I am thankful that we still have men and women in our country that are willing to put themselves out there at risk for the greater good.

My faimily's thoughts and prayers with all that need them.

I just talked to a friend of mine with Dickson PD. He said the funeral is this Saturday at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church in Dickson.

That is correct. Visitation Friday at Spann Funeral Home in Dickson. 1200 to 2000

They buried Officer Bellar today. It was a very somber service. A few friends of Keith's, a police department chaplain, a fellow officer, Dickson Co. Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe and our pastor spoke. It was a very nice service. There were perhaps 900 persons there. I noted about 100 patrol cars, from cities and counties from around the state, as well as troopers from Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky and Georgia.

And of course...Amazing Grace on the Scottish pipes. :tough:
