Good point Rabbi. Now, if only I could shoot a revolver as accurately as my Sigs... :D

Shooting a wheel gun just came naturally(DA only). Took me 20 years of good practice to shoot a bottom feeder as well.

That;s funny because I started off with semis then moved to revolvers. After some time shooting a revolver I tried a semi again and it was so easy. I had the idea that a good revolver shooter will shoot a semi better than a comparable semi shooter. If that made any sense.

I have a Kahr CW9 and love it. I have a G19 as well and it is great to shoot but I prefer the CW for carry. It is less bulky due to the single stack and if you can't get your business handled with 7 rounds, well.....call for backup!

I agree about the 3913. I have a 3953 (the DAO version) and it conceals and shoots very well. I have read reviews calling it the best 3rd gen S&W semi-auto and I agree. It just feels solid.

Kahr K9 7 +1 Single Stack and Dead Nuts Reliable

Practice, Harbinger, practice.

you know, I once had the opportunity to help one of the guys on the board with his taurus...didn't take him long before he closed his groups from 4 inches to 2!

shooting requires practice. great shooting requires LOTS of practice.

I think revolvers point alot better than semi's because your hand is more in line with the pistol and with the target...you can get your wrist and your index finger (the same thing you point at things with) closer to the line of travel of your bullet.

that's just my way of thinking though..

as for a single stack pistols.. there are so many out there that are reliable and so many more that aren't...

Absolutely true. I find it helps to have someone watch you while you shoot. Sometimes they see something you are doing that can be corrected. Maybe you finger is at the wrong place on the trigger. Sometimes you aren't holding the handgun firmly enough - or too firmly. Maybe you would do better with a different stance.

In the old days, lots of kids shot all the time and developed a natural ability to shoot. These days you may have to drive an hour just to find a place where you can shoot. It's a shame you have to practice rather than just go shoot for fun.
