I sent Manroy Defense the company that bought defunct Sabre Defense an email about the fate of the Sabre line of AR's and just wanted to share in case others were wondering so here it is.....

Hi Ryan,

Sabre Commercial is currently in the process of moving operations from Nashville, TN to Scottsboro, AL. As soon as the appropriate Federal Firearms License's are in place we will again be back in business. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we will be back, bigger and better than ever.

Sincerely,

Paul

well there it is look for news in the coming months they say better than ever, we shall see......

I agree with hipower. I hate to see the jobs leave the area.

That's never good to see. Hopefully it's best for the company

I drive by there facility in Nashville almost every weekday and I dont think they are closing it it seems to be getting busier. I believe the AR's are the only thing moving out of state and with Sabres line of products added to Manroy's they should have plenty to manufacture at two or more facilities. I dont know what the number of employees has become since the buyout but there are still Tennesseeans earning a living there for now.

I used to do some work with Sabre at my previous job. I will see if I can't dig up anything. Though its been with in the last 8 months, not sure if any of my same contacts are there.
