Lessee...I hated My Nazi Marked Browning HP. My M29 Hiway patrolman shot me. I really liked every one of my assorted M19 .357's The prettiest was my .50 backaction lock BP rifle (after I refinished it). The PPSH 41 battlefield pickup fully auto I found behind a panel in a closet of a house I rented was pretty crude but it was unusual (I put it back when I moved). The JP Sauer was a great revolver until it got skunked. The M97 Trench shotgun was really old and I sold it to my uncle. The gun I liked the best and wish I still had was my Sterling .380 auto in stainless. Well..the ladysmith was pretty neat too....and the Winchester M88 in 308...you guys ask hard questions!!

Even though the M29 shot you, it still could have been your best gun :). I figure it might lose big in "your favorite gun" thread. You're right... tough question.

Thats tough, I would have two one in each class revolver and pistol. The revolver has to be my Dan Wesson 15-2 .357 mag with 6" heavy barrel, that gun can drive tacks, it's the best shooting revolver I have ever shot and I have shot a bunch over the years. As to the pistol it would have to be my Beretta Px4 Storm in 9 mm, almost no recoil has never failed to load any thing you feed it very straight shooting pistol.

I'm a handgun guy for sure. Whatever I'm carrying at the moment is probably the centerfire favorite. Either a Glock 17, SIG 220, or Springfield EMP usually. SR9 is way up on the list too actually, forgot it. Then the SIG 225 I just bought may be moving in, or the Kimber. Sheesh, I don't know.

Probably the best overall for me, is my oldest handgun. Well, not the oldest, but the one I bought first. A Ruger Mk II Target Bull Barrel. I have over a hundred k rounds through that one. I sure as heck should know how to shoot it.

Rifles, I really like the SIG 522 bought from my buddy. But my Kimber 82 is a tack driver. Or maybe the 77/22 that used to make me look like I could shoot. If I ever go pick up the Ruger Scout Rifle I played with last week, that might easily be the top one. Never picked up a rifle that felt that good I don't think.

Stop asking questions like this! Now my head hurts!

I only own a few pistols right now, but what I have are all pretty good quality. All my Berettas & my SR9 are great shooters, but I'm most accurate with my .45 Beretta Cougar & it's probably my favorite of the group. I just picked up a SIG P229 & can't wait to see how it stands up to it, though. I know they're suppost to be top notch shooters & tougher than nails.

Wow. If you mean the coolest, I guess that would be an original 1875 Remington pistola. Nickled, issued to an Indian Police agency back in the day. Lost in a divorce.

Modern, usable firearm? My edc Sig.

That's easy. My M-1 Garand. Great rifle. But the thing I like most about it was the stories and wealth of knowledge I was taught by Mark@Sea. I consider myself honored to call him friend. If you get the opportunity to meet him, know you are in the presence of good people.

The M28 HP was just too big for my dainty hands...but it was pretty cheap when I bought it. 159.00 NIB

Sorry I misscalled it...the M29 was really a whole different ball of wax than the M28..I'm old and it was a long time ago.

My old H&K USPc 9mm. Best gun I ever had. Had a ton of rounds threw it, well over 10,000. No faults what so ever. Smooth action, the perfect trigger, fit my hand better than anyhting else. i could go on and on. The barrel had just started showing signs of wear, and I had a new one on order. Someone decided they wanted it more than me. i think a friend snatched it while a group of us were at the range :D

My Sig P226. Never a hickup. If it fails it's because I did something wrong.

+1 and throw in the P229 for good measure.
