Did I get a good deal?

Was out kicking tires trying to track down some 6.8 ammo and at a local shop came across a Sig P226 in excellent condition with night sights on it. Was a police trade in and only sign of use is slight wear on the barrel and a couple slight knicks on back of frame. Was able to pick it up for $450 and I think I got a good deal.

The only thing to do now is take it to the range and run it side by side with my Glock 23 to see which one takes the EDC spot.

Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me. I love Sigs, only thing that would have made it better IMHO would be if it was a 228.LOL

You definitely got a pretty decent deal as long as it came with at least 2 magazines.

The 226 is a great gun. To pick up a gently used one for $450 is pretty good. To have it come with night sights is pretty great (as long as they still have plenty of life left in them). A lot of us would definitely love to find something like that in that price range!
