Fell today

Recommended Posts

Slipped on an oilslick from a leaky front..or rear seal.. and tumbled a good one. I'll be lucky to move my arm tomorrow. My wife hasn't made my "temper temper" medicine for a week and I'm in a foul mood..."Short Tempered! I said Short Tempered , Fat face!!" I don't mean to be a genuine butt...but I am. I'll apologise next time.

Pics?

Yep, usually throwing something, or kicking something, or both usually helps, although it is expensive when what ever thrown impacts whatever thrown at.

Sorry, sounds rough.

I fell exactly perfect on my shoulder out in the woods "walking for my health" last summer and it only took 9 months to mostly stop hurting. But that was better than the two years mending from the herniated disc I got from a fall "walking for my health" 20 years ago. Healthy exercise is dangerous!

Old guys gotta be careful complaining too much. They shoot horses, ya know!

Let that be a warning to everyone.

They are mostly right about that. I admit to being a big grouchy baby when I get a boo boo, much less really hurting myself.

I'm fine with the big owwies. When I got shot I didn't much notice it for a couple of hours. I knew I'd been shot but it wasn't that big a deal...until the doc cut out the bullet half just under the skin at my ankle. NOW THAT HURT!. This fall I landed in a chainlink fence. I'm amazed I didn't break my glasses because I have a lattice work face. I actually landed on my left shoulder...but it's my right one that hurts...and my neck...on the right side. It's that slippery synthetic oil that did me..regular oil isn't that slick!

Hopefully it is muscle strain and not a back injury which is referring the pain out to your shoulder and neck.

I have found then when something needs to be broken or thrown, that the relief supplied from breaking something is in direct proportion to the cost of whatever it is you choose to break. IE:Throw a cell phone against the wall and you forget about whatever made you mad to begin with, throw a pack of matches across the room, and you'll still be pissed off.

I hope you are alright Buc

Sorry to hear of your mishap Babajuc and hope you are fully recovered soonest Glad that you can still type with your other arm as I greatly enjoy your posts. I endorse that Tennessee sipping whiskey as a therapeutic remedy and usually use same as preventive medicine.
