Update: We shot the Bersa this weekend. It didn't care for the ball practice ammo and had a few failure to ejects. The defense ammo we have cycled fine.

The trigger pull of the double action was almost too much, she did pull it and fire and hit the target, all subsequent shots were dead on. Safety manipulation, which is my concern, was a bit problematic. I'm still concerned, in the middle of the night, she might not be able to manipulate it. She isn't going to practice that much with it, unless I am there and make her. I forgot to bring the .38, but will in a few weeks.

The Bersa actually shoots pretty good, I like it. My 9 year old son shot it and did well too. He enjoyed it. We also shot my AR that I built (Anvil Arms Lower, DTI upper kit). I.....he loved it too!

As much as I like my pistols, a revolver is the most reliable gun for someone who isn't going to practice and maintain it.
