Ummm, we are getting "snow", ok it is flurrying, but hell, this is Memphis, this is all we can hope for!

Well for the moment, the 14 flakes we got are over, but the radar has some "wrap around" that could clip the Memphis area, which means when it is all said in done, we could have a total of 31.5 flakes.

We had the rain yesterday, over 2".

Looks like areas west are getting the snow.

Still raining like a MF here. Then we are supposed to get a break for a while followed by possible tornadoes. We are right on the edge of a tornado watch. Temp has been 62 degrees since I got up, although we are officially at 57.2 right now. I understand that will change. We are also in a wind advisory area.

In short, this is technically called a yucky day. If you are out fishing in this, you are both dedicated and dumb.

Where'd you hear schools were let out? I haven't heard of any. And if they do, someone should lose their job.

Well it has tapered off to "spitt'n" snow. Now what am I going to do with the 4 gallons of milk, 4 loafs of bread, 5lbs of penut butter.....

That was a joke Dix. I know they let them out for just about any reason.

Gotcha. I'm a tad slow on Tuesdays. :usa:

Lots of pb&j sandwiches with milk to wash it down.

What's funny is that my family, me, wife, 4 kids (one is an infant), go through 2 gallons of milk, 2 loafs of bread, around a pound of penut butter, and about 3/4 of a jar of jelly every week.:usa: It would be more but I am ummm watching my IWB waistline:D

I know we go through at least a gallon and a half of milk a week at our house and my wife doesn't drink it. She drinks soy.

Ewww, soy.....I have "learned" to drink the green top, which is 1%, still can't do skim. I bought some blue top 2%, this weekend, it goes well with the brownies I bought:D. It is almost like desert by itself (the 2%) I can't wait until the baby starts drinking cow milk, that is a year of whole (red top) milk!

Well, we are in the calm between the storms. The second wave is about to hit. Just had a tornado watch issued for my county a few seconds ago. Actually, tornadoes are rare here. Famous last words.

The temperature is going up. 67 degrees now.

I'm waiting for Dorothy and Toto to fly by.

The folks on the local news are saying we can expect 3 to 5 inches of snow in my area ( north and west of Nashville ) sometime after noon tomorrow.

No doubt this'll be one of those rare times when the weather guessers actually get it right... which is a real shame, considering it was over 60 degrees here today.

We are just getting the rain now. We have the cold system converging on us from the northwest and a warm system from the south. All they know is that we are going to be very wet today and think we might get a few snow showers tomorrow.

Weekend. Have to stock up on the beer and snacks today. :D

UNBELIEVABLE...we haven't had one single drop of rain or one snowflake yet, but they're closing all the area schools at noon today. I never cease to be amazed.
