His displeasure with the direction country music is / has taken.

Okay, okay, not a true, crop eating locust plague of Biblical proportions means the Almighty still likes Keith Urban, Rascal Flats and Taylor Swift. He's just not happy calling it country.

You heard it here first.

Technically speaking, it's against my religion to listen to country music. BUT I backslid the other night. I took the wife to see Swifty at the Bridgestone arena. I t wasn't my cup of tea, but it's far from country music and my wife hasn't smiled that much in a looooong time. She really likes her. Taylor seems like a good kid.

I filmed the entire thing, her set was very creative and she certainly entertains her fans. Dang she's a tall gal, I'll say that.

When I was growing up they did.

Part of the trick is, to Catch them in location A and fish in a place were the water is not already full of them. It was not a problem for me as we did not have a large out break of them, I remember riding out on my motorcycle to go catch them with a milk jug. putting in a few dozen. Then going fishing. Were I went fishing just a few miles away there wasn't any.

I remember when bluegrass was country. You can always tell if it's new country...the rythmn guitar changes chords 8 or more times in a song.

Swing died, jazz died, rock died, disco died, country died and, hopefully, someday soon, this crap will die too.

Cicadas are the best freshwater fishing we have. Blake Shelton, Josh Thompson, Justin Moore, just to name a few, are doin their part to keep country country. Nothing like Conway of course....

And when it does, the fans of today will be complaining that the stuff that replaces it isn't country. To the folks that peddle it, Country is just a brand. I don't like most of the current product either, but there's a big fan base out there that calls it country. Some of them will be pissed when it evolves into something else.

I don't like the current product any of the genres of music are putting out! I stick to listening older stuff. If I'm listening to the radio here in Nashville, its JackFM or 105.9 The Rock.
