What's interesting is that Kleck is pretty much a pro-gun control guy. When I met him at a conference, he was pretty clear in our chat that he thinks that restricting gun ownership is a good idea, but that the arguments of the gun control lobby are generally lacking any basis in fact. I appreciate his intellectual honesty even if I don't agree with his overall opinion on guns.
