a Kimber Custom TLE with night sights. Hope it is as accurate as my Target. Can't wait to get out and run a few hundred rounds through it.

Nice. Excuse my ignorance regarding Kimbers, but other than the adjustable sights and grips, is there any difference between the two? I'm in the market for a 1911 and really like the SIS but haven't decided for sure yet.

Hey David,

To be quite honest I dont know. The TLE stands for Tactical Law Enforcement. Externally the only difference is the sights, night sights vs adjustable. I haven't stripped the TLE yet so I don't know if the guts are different.

I have been wanting another Kimber and this one was a good deal so I bought it. I really like the adjustable sights on the Target. The night sights might get replaced depending on how it shoots.

Thanks. I kind of thought the same thing. I'd seen both side by side and other than sights and grips, the price was $100 more for the TLE.
