Hey guys and gals,

I've read the forum for a long time and decided to join because I will be working in the tri-cities area soon and wanted to know about ya'lls local shops and ranges. I think i'll be staying around Bristol so any info on things to do would be great. This will be my second time in Tennessee so im not familiar with the area (the first time I went to Dollywood when I was 13 or so) but I look forward to visiting and living there because from I remember its its beautiful country.

Welcome! I'm in Knoxville, so others farther east will know more, but yes, very beautiful country. Loads of outdoor stuff to do--and those in that area can prob give recommendations on shops and where to shoot. If you come to the K-town area, we've got several nice places to shop/shoot--let us know.

And yes I have a place near lufkin to hog hunt, I went down on the neches river last week and killed a nice 200 pounder. I just built myself an ar-10 so hopefully ill find a nice range up there. I found one in johnson city that looks nice so ill try it out and let y'all know

we have a few ranges and clubs in the area, when you get in town pm me if you would like, I can give you directions from where you are at. Maybe meet up at the indoor range in Piney Flats. I do a lot of my shooting out here on my property but am always up for time at the range.
