I notice they make mention of zombie free camps, and there is no mention of being prepared to defend yourself.

I have no doubt that should a zombie outbreak happen and you try to go to a zombie free camp you will have to relinquish you firearms as part of the deal.

I'll make my own camp if they try to take our weapons!! Guns would be a MUST!!

In the event of a zed outbreak, I am not taking my family to a zombie free camp. We'll just sit tight where we are with our weapons and supplies. :)

I just loaded about 400 45 ACP rounds after reading this. Not a lot but it was all the small primer brass I have. I guess I could break out my large primer brass and continue.

And as far as camps go it would be like a dinner buffet to the zombies. The zombies will wait for a chance to get in and if they did all campers would be gone very quickly. I will sit tight where I am and probably stay pretty safe. After all most people are in urban areas or will flock to the urban areas. And the zombies will go to where the food source it.

Would they establish the camp at CDC in Atlanta?

Zombie Free Camps = Land of the Dead.

Watch that movie and you'll understand.

Yup! This is how it will happen. Assuming that cell phones and phone lines will eventually useless, short wave will be were it's at. Me and mine will head to the hills. As far up up and away as possible. I have no doubt that we can hold our own out there. Hunting. Fishing. Trapping. Smoking those zombie strays.
