being a victim of a crime is not grounds to be denied a carry permit in TN.

I do not remember any questions on my permit application, or my wife's permit application that would address the subject of assault victim. But, it has been a while.

I think we need more information. Perhaps someone ran 'her' mouth off a bit much at the wrong time.

Shouldn't happen in a shall issue state. I could see this happening in other states, with different laws.

yup...different state...so I was wondering. it's a state where the sheriff can deny without cause

I read about it on the net...one of those northeast states...if it's north and east of TN it's included

*shrug* in may issue states they can deny for any reason they want.

thats why i live in a shall issue state!
