Fire at Well Done Bullet

Citation? I would like to see if the license is location specific. I think he had the FFL licensing before he moved into the location approximately 3 months ago.

FFLs are very location specific. You are only allowed to conduct business at the premises address on the license. If you move, you must notify the ATF. They will not approve a license unless you are good to go with all state/local laws, codes and zoning.

Yep. That's why is so difficult to get one to operate out of home, except for C&R.

You have to have FFL for each location if you operate in more than one, too.

I hate to pass judgement before all the facts are in, but it's beginning to appear as though General Ripper (I mean Well Done Bullet) has exceeded his authority.

I was thinking along the lines of making ammo for the Mexican Drug cartels.

Hmm, I think you could be right.

Ok, some additional info: The Metro Codes Dept. did not know it was there. I have yet to go by the location, but supposedly, it did not have any signs or advertisement.

The oddness continues. I wonder what the repercussions will be...

Hopefully they will just enforce the laws that are in place already and it will not effect the folks doing the right thing.

Thanks for clarifying the FFL. Seems BATFE dropped the ball, if Metro did not know about the store...

More than likely he got the license for another location then moved without applying for a license at the new location. That in itself is illegal.
