Obama has gone to the right far enough that the notion that you'll beat him be going farther to the right is a little deluded.

I think the way to beat Obama is to run against GWB. It worked for Obama last time and if someone points out all the same failures it could possibly work again. It seems hollow though, just caring about the R or the D is superficial.

Wait, wait. I get it now. The entire difference between the D and R is superficial. Both parties want the best for us and what is best for us is for them to be in charge.

If it was wrestling you'd root for the referee but the odds are stacked against a third party.

Agreed. Though none of the other GOP aspirants who have emerged so far are any more viable.

So far, seems Obama will have to lose it on his own to be unseated.

truth!

Unless someone ( a new messiah) comes out of the woodwork to make a legitimate run at things the Big O will get a second term. If the freeloaders come out and vote again, no one stands a chance. I mean who is a welfare addict going to vote for? Someone who will enable them to keep their free ride or someone who might cut back?

This place is in an unending spiral to going out of business.

Huckabee is unelectable anyway, I don't see an evangelical geting the votes.

Thank god, Huck is not running. That will give Ron Paul a better chance of winning!!

As much as I would love for RP to win, he has zero chance against Big O.

There's still hope. Obama still has over a year to screw up. George Bush the first managed to do it.

True, but it would have to be monumental to wake up the brain-washed masses.

The killing of Osama with a huge bump for Obama. The economy is still on the brink of another major failure. Inflation is through the roof and unemployment numbers are climbing every week. We need a strong conservative to speak out and attack Obama's weak points--maybe Jim Demint will throw his hat into the ring.

I thought Perot cost King Geo. I the election.

He helped Bush lose. "Read my lips no new taxes" and then rising taxes hurt. Also "Its the economy stupid". They made Bush look out of touch with the average person. Remember Bush had a rating somewhere around 80% after the Gulf War and Oil was at a very low price. It was Bush's to lose, it's also Obama's to lose.
