Spike's Rifle Complete

Well here is a pre-range shot of my new Spike's Rifle.

Its 556 on a 14.5" upper with Smith Vortex pinned and welded to reach 16"

1/7 twist barrel, mid length gas system, 9" bar rail, tapco 6 position.

Hope it shoots as good as it feels. Weighs in at over 3lbs less than my Sig 556.

Magpul BUS, just saving up for some optics at this point!

Looks good. I just did a BCM 14.5 midlength, light and easy to handle. I am thinking about doing one more.

Very nice. You will love the Vortex on that short barrel once you add optics.

Good looking stick...I just got mine put together with the same upper...less the rail...hopefully gonna get over to orsa and break her in today.

Gun ran flawlessly...the tuning fork noise takes a little getting used to though lol. Unfortunately I think I still like shooting my msar with the neu-trigger better than the ar with the spikes nickel boron unit...

Can't wait to get it to the range. Too many honeydo's and too much rain. Its killing me just having it sit here.
