Colt Cobra Lightweight snubbie front sight

Numrich doesn't have them and I don't see them at any if the usual suspects - so does any one have a clue where I might find a front sight for a Colt Cobra Lightweight?

Isn't the front sight fixed on that pistol? i.e. part of the barrel?

You might email these folks or watch gunbroker.com, but I'm guessing somebody will be making one, or else fitting a new barrel complete with sight. May I ask what went with the old one?

My buddy picked this one up for 200.00. He loves the thing. The sight jumped out of the slot once and he super glued it in. Well, the second time it jumped it went into the high grass never to be seen again. the slot is much thicker than a dime.

I'd just make one. He'll need to silver solder it in place. Any competent gunsmith can do that for you if you don't have the tools. If you do, make it taller than you think you'll need, and shoot, file, shoot , file, etc. until you get it the right hieght.
