A really good weekend.

I have to say that this was a really good weekend for me.

Friday night my daughter and grandson (he's 19) came over to do some shooting. I have a few acres of privacy with a nice area for handguns. It gave me the chance to show him how to use a handgun for the first time. He's used rifles and shotguns for a few years.

On Saturday I took my wife and daughter to the range at Outdoor Junction. We brought my gun and rented 2 more. We all had a good time and agreed the folks there run a good indoor range.

Sunday (Mothers Day) we celebrated by deciding to buy another gun. I got a new S&W SD9 and my wife is taking our Sigma for herself. Ouch, she twisted my arm.

All in all I'd say this was my best gun related weekend ever.

Sounds like a great family outing. But a question please. Where is Outdoor Junction? It's been quite a whie since I was In the area, and am always looking for a new range.

Outdoor Junction is right off I-40 at exit 288 (Hwy 70) in Cookeville. They have a nice shop upstairs with a range in the lower level.

That's right. For Mothers Day I got a new gun and my wife got a couple of small gifts and a very happy husband!
