Does anyone shoot any of the Mathews Z7 line?

I'm thinking about a Z7 Xtreme.

My bow experience is pretty limited, and the bows I've had in the past have been significantly longer than the Xtreme's 28". I shoot it well, and am comfortable with it, but would appreciate the thoughts of some our more experienced bow shooters.

I was really surprised by both how smooth and quiet it was.

I like the idea of a shorter bow in the woods. I'm literally coming from an old recurve bow, so I feel like I'm in totally uncharted territory.

Not sayiing that I know more than anyone here about Mathews, just most !! Ha ha ha...jk. Been addicted to archery for many years now. Mathews has been given A LOT of my money. Shot many of their bows....loved them all and they just keep getting better. The Z7 is no slouch. This bow rips arrows through the air at blazing speeds and it's accuracy is amazing!

Longer ATA and longer brace height = more accuracy, more forgiving (in most cases)

Shorter ATA and shorter brace height usually translate to faster speeds, less forgiving.

Keep in mind it's really relative to the shooters experience, training and knowledge of a correct set up.

I would be glad to assist in helping you get the correct set up for you if you would like?

When the time comes to buy, I may take you up on that.
