outdoor firing range

I'm looking for an outdoor firing range for this Saturday.

I've only been living in Knoxville for a year so I'm not familiar with the surrounding areas/countys, I've been to the range on rifle range road but I'm not a fan of bench rest shooting.

I'm itching to shoot my newly acquired Arsenal SGL21-61

So were can I go shoot?

There's an outdoor range in Norris. You have to swing by the Norris PD to pay a fee and get a key to it. I forget how much it is. There's ORSA in Oak Ridge, but that costs $120 per year.

Wouldn't have the slightest idea. I'm sure if you called they'd help you out. They are pretty nice guys. All 2 of them.

There really aren't very many places to shoot outdoors aside from private property. Those are the only three I can think of anywhere close to Knoxville.

Norris PD is open 24/7 and will do the transaction any time.

It's $20 for one visit or $40 for whole year, June 30-June30. Fee is not prorated.

I just got back from Norris,

I'll be @ the range tomorrow between 9-12 in the morning.

I'll be the one with the black AKM with long steel mags;)
