Just returned from the range....1200 rounds.

Flawless. Excellent target acquisition...cheap mags (wilson fixed that)....perfect balanced....a great loaded pistol for the price, it's up to par with my Range Officer.

No hicups...no FTF...no jams...no stovepipes....nothing from round 1 to 1200. That is rare, my TRP had 1 hicup.

This will go into daily rotation for a few months now.....excellent weapon and would recommend it to anyone. If someone wants to try it out PM me and we will meet at the range...then you can go see Dave at D&T for your own.

Yes, with 10 magazines it takes about 2 hours.. I reload for a reason, I like to shoot and practice....I'm pretty deadly with a 1911. Here are a couple papers.

1000 rounds will waste 5 papers.

Was the Ruger cheaper than your Range Officer? It's a sweet looking pistol and nice shooting by the way.

This Ruger SR1911 is the FIRST pistol my wife has actually looked twice at and even replied, "wow, if you get that, it will be the PRETTIEST little gun you will have!"

Does that mean she just gave me permission? (not that I need it *cough* *cough* ) ha ha ha...

$681 out the door and great performance. Ruger is really putting the pessure on the other manufacturers to build quality firearms AND keep the price down. Go Ruger!
