Got a newew iphone and cannot navigate in TGO. I never had any problems with my last one. The screen shot below is all I get when navigating to the site. I cannot go into any of the subjects or even zoom in and out. Anyone have any ideas?

I get similar crap with my Droid phone.

I pretty much gave up on surfing here with it. I have not encountered any other websites that don't work like normal on the phone.

download tapatalk guys ....

i think its only $.99 cents and you can view the forums perfectly ...

My iPod does that, but there's a thingy to click on that says "See Full Site" I click that and I can do anything I normally can. only smaller:)

why do I need to buy something to make this site work when every other website works without it?

I just entered the url again and it pulls up a blue tinted websight that is Vbulletin based.

And none of the links work.

I had that at first. Try going to the buttom of the page and clicking the full version tab if you have one.

well that is interesting. it is the only link that I have found to work on the page and clicking on that took me to the current TGO webpage. It even let me log in.

Thanks

For me, Tapatalk (left) makes it easier to read and navigate on the phone's screen than Safari (right):

Saves a ton of zooming, scrolling, etc...

Ok, I got it to work using safari but like Crimsonaudio, I like tapatalk better. C'mom Mike, part with the $3 :D

tapatalk wants 2.99. I am tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cheap for that. :D

I use a free version of tapatalk that doesn't let you post. Works great and doesn't cost anything.

I recently got a motorola xoom android pad that is "almost as big as a computer screen" but not nearly as big as my desktop screens.

TGO seems to automatically detect the smaller 1280 x 800 pixel screen and adapt somewhat. It doesn't look too bad.

Would tapatalk make things better with a largish pad or smallish netbook screen? Screen resolutions in the middle between too tiny and luxuriously big?

The only odd thing I notice on the Android 3.0 Xoom, using the default google android browser, is that the "what's new" tab is nowhere to be found, and apparently I can't get a "whats new" list from the Xoom. Perhaps that is a limitation in the google android browser rather than the TGO web interface. Dunno.

OK I just tested again and it may be a little different tonite.

It shows the "whats new" tab when signing onto TGO from the Xoom. But the "Whats new" tab doesn't do anything.

If I scroll down to the bottom and select "Full Site", it will show the "whats new" tab and respond to it in the same fashion as it does on a Mac or PC.

I'm not complaining. Just explaining what I see for what it may be worth. TGO obviously is smart enough to know I've signed on from a pad or a smallish screen and tries to work a little differently to coddle the smaller screen anyway, though there are a few snags.

There may be a problem with the mobile skin that vBulletin is trying to use. Let me check into it.
