Is anyone here familiar with the SigArms SHR970? I'm trying to confirm or deny a rumor that these rifles are being imported into the U.S. again.

Ive seen a few 270s for sale But I thought Sig stopped making these.

I thought so too, but I do know Sig Arms stopped importing them and they were still available in Europe for a while. I hope they are still being produced and that the rumor is true. I want to get some more barrels for mine.

I have one and I like it a lot. I would like to think they are being imported again but I don't see them listed on the SIGARMS site.

I havent' heard anything about this, but will absolutely look into it. As a matter of fact I think that I'll call them now!

OK just talked to the Dealer Representative and he said that there has been no confirmation to reintroduce the SHR970 yet. He said it's a possibility, but they haven't as of yet and there is nothing on that table at the moment to do so. For what it is worth.
