Painting at the range

my new art project, at 50 yards putting paint balls on golf tees. I was shooting a savage mark II btv and cheap federal ammo

Pretty monochromatic. While the bold approach of the splatter is artistically stimulating, the lack of contrasting colors ruins the effect of conflict you seem to be attempting. I would recommend some blue and dark red to enhance the visual impact.

Yeah i had planed on getting a few different colors, but walmart only had 1.

I think monochromism is the point of the piece. The lack of contrast speaks to the ennui in the cultural milieu. Pent up anger and frustration finds its expression in the mechanism by which the medium finds itself splattered across the pockmarked canvas. It's very esoteric.

This piece may sell for millions, someday. After the artist is dead, if course.

That is the worst analysis I have ever heard. Clearly, if the the artist was going to express ennui, the color would not have bright orange and easily noticed. HE would have gone with a particular shade of gray.

That said, this piece still works. What the art tells us is that the artist is bothered by the frenetic pace of modern life, We can clearly see this in the number of the spatters. We can also see that the artist is non conformist but the randomness of the splatters, it is almost like he is hoping something magical happens by chance when he approaches the canvas.

The over riding feature seems to be a message of mans inhumanity to man.
