I have wanted to know ever since I first read the entire series, just this!!!

The first spell I would have learned would have been Accio-Glock. I would have had the ever brilliant Hermione research and develop an enchantment for an ever loading magazine, and the dragon egg would have been mine without much of a struggle during the tri-wizard tournament when I conjured a Holland&Holland double rifle and put two 900g Monolithic solid rounds from a .600 nitro express [enchanted with a zero recoil charm] in it's chest.

AND, for the face off between death eaters? I'd have a "Mimic Jerry Miculek" charm pre cast, and I'd square off with a S&W custom shop 45ACP revolver.

It would seem that HP was written in a british setting because of the author, but maybe she understood that setting the same scene in say...Tn[patron state of shottin' stuff] The story would be reduced from a series of large novels to basically a pamphlet, or maybe a decent comic book.

I enjoy the HP movies, don't carry to read the books. However yes, pulling the trigger is faster then casting a spell.
