Someone told me Cleveland is under a state of emergency, and there's a 6am curfew.

Sent from my Etch a Sketch

I was listening on my scanner app and it sounds like Cleveland got hit hard. :( someone on the scanner said they found a truck in what used to be someones basement, I'm assuming the house itself was gone.

All you guys over in east TN be careful.

Looks like the worst is over. Golf ball size hail on my new roof. Can't wait to check out the cars in the morning. Lots of wind and plant damage. We were lucky. I hope everybody's OK.

Here is a little of what we got in West TN Sunday and Monday night. Got a gen-set hooked up today, will be weeks before we get power back. All this on my little 3 acres.

Yep! I hit a tree going about 35 mph that fell across

the main line around Montgomery Bell. There have

been around 300 trees cleared off the tracks between

Memphis and Nashville the last few days.

This weather is something else.

2 inch hail...wife took pictures... I can't load them the 2 inch was the big one...but it was 30 minutes before she could make the camera work. I broke the on switch...or at least I was the one carrying it when it fell off.

Glad y'all are ok, sorry for the damage.

Lots of friends and family in Tuscaloosa, most are accounted for.

This storm was unbelievable...

The news from the NE part of the state is not too good. We have 13 confirmed dead up here in NE/TN and SW/VA.

I don't think I hardly even have a stick down in the yard, there is a small one in the driveway a ways from the house.

We did get a lot of rain yesterday, the metal frame on her gazebo thing in the back is bent in a spot from the weight of the water stuck in the roof of it.

i am amazed and relieved that a whole lot of nothing happened here.

Buddy from work texted me last night that they lost their screened in porch and his truck is pock marked from the big hail like Lumber Jack showed.

The only thing I can complain about was the continuous EBS warnings on the TV last night. Not that I cared but the kids and my wife were complaining and I had to listen to it. Seemed about every four minutes another one flashed on the screen.

I hope everyone here is safe.

I think the sheild around Y12 over Oak Ridge held last night, seems all we got was rain I feel bad for those that got it worse.

A guy in the office next door no longer has a house.

He has his family, the clothes on his back, and nothing else.

-1 rep for tornadoes.

We were devastated by the flood last year. We came within a couple of feet of flooding the house again last night. The creek behind our house over flowed. Stayed up until midnight to confirm that the creek started to recede.

Over 200 dead in 6 states. I read...somewhere... that the US has more tornados than anywhere else in the world. Last night was scary...until I fell asleep.

The opening of a twister came within a few hundred yards of me. My neighbor and I were both dumb enough to stand out in the front yard and watch it as it made it's curve towards E. Brainerd and Apison. No major damage around me other then a few trees down and some cars as far as I can tell (I've not ventured out that far yet). This was the same EF4 that completely leveled Ringgold, GA (I just live a couple miles away) so we were pretty damn lucky.

My brother didn't fair too well. He lost his house and everything they had in that same tornado. Thankfully he and the SIL were at work with their 3 YO girl at the babysitter's so they were not harmed.

Can anybody tell me if they've seen any reports about our governor visiting any part of the state that was affected by the storms?
