Yesterday was the 35th anniversary of Rick Monday's rescue of a lighter-fluid soaked flag from two men attempting to burn it in left field at Dodger Stadium. MLB made a nice video about the event.

Wow, thanks for the link. I did not know about this. Of course I was only 1 year and 3 days old when it happened. However as I am not a sports fan I never heard about it either.
