HCP waiting time

I completed fingerprinting/application on 1/6/10. On 5/10/10, I called DPS and was told they were waiting on paperwork. My permit was issued that day and received 5/15/10.

applied 2-18-10 called 5-10-10 not approved. recieved today 5-20-10. maybe that call speed it up. bt I had live in 3 diffrent counties and 2 different states in the recent period of time

I guess it's similar to the wait time for a background check when purchasing a firearm. It may be a few minutes or take over an hour.

Class on 4/10, applied and fingerprinted on 5/3, issued on 5/18, and received 5/24.

I took my class on May 13-14. I applied on may 18th, fingerprinted the 19th. I recieved my HCP in the mail today (June 11), it was issued on June 1.

Now I just need to purchase a gun.

Complete application on 5/25, fingerprinted on 5/28, permit arrived 6/14. My fiance hasn't gotten hers yet - her application was complete on 5/28 and fingerprinted same day.
