EOTech service. Anyone had any dealings with them?

Several months ago I purchased a new EOTech HWS and 4X Magnifier from OpticsPlanet. Don't know why I purchased them since I'm not much of a long gun guy. I guess it was just an impulse buy. Anyway, I tried out the magnifier the other day and I noticed a problem. There is either a problem with the magnifier and/or magnifier mount because the magnifier, evenly when properly seated, moves enough to give a different sight picture after every shot. The movement of the magnifier cause the reticle to appear in a different location each time. I will be the first to admit that I know very little about sights, but it seems to me that that shouldn't happen.

I contacted Optics Planet and they told me I would need to contact the manufacturer. I sent an email to them and I am waiting for a response. Has anyone dealt with EOTech in regards to warranty service? Comments?

Yes. I had a problem with that stripped gripper thread and the service rep sent me two of them

at no charge. They stand by their

product. The service number is on

their site. Good people.

I borke the battery compartment lever off my eotech (It was my fault). When I called tech support and told them how I broke it, they sent me 2 replacements at no charge.

Well, you guys are right. I sent them an email, and got a response the next day stating they will send out a new mount for the magnifier. I just hope that is the problem.

I got my new mount in Friday. It fixed the problem. The magnifier no longer moves. Based upon my experience with EOTech during this ordeal, I will definitely buy their products again in the future.
