American Eagle Surplus Tracer Ammo (5.56)

Anyone tried this stuff yet? I thought it would be a good "zombie" load I ordered 200rds plan on putting it 5 rounds from the bottom of the mag as a sort of "mag level" indicator. .223 (5.56x45 Mm) 64 - Gr. Fmj Ammo, Rifle Ammunition, American Eagle at Sportsman's Guide had the best price on it at $95 per 200rds. If you spend at least $125 this weekend they also give you free shipping Course I ended up buying some other odds and ends so I guess thats how they suck you in lol.....now if my Spikes Zombie lower would get here.....

I don't have the time or I would. In a good month I go to the range twice. I have contemplated buying a nice reloading setup but it would take years as busy as I am for it to break even.

10 cents? For the complete round? 15 cents is about the cheapest I can get even with surplus powder. Where do you get components that cheap? Especially tracers.

i get them from me and i use goverment surplus powder that i also get from myself and i pay retail to myself for it where do you get your stuff

one i have a reloading supply buisness two i have a path to good mil-surp at lake city altho brass is starting to get harder to get when i take it from my store i pay for it

without brecking the rules i can say too much about my stuff but i do get to knoxville often sometimes people wonder where i come up with the stuff i have but i am retired and spend all week looking for new stuff
