HK USP 40/9 full size - How do you carry it?

Hi,

I received my HCP for TN and would like to carry my H&K USP full size 9mm. The USP is a big gun and is difficult to conceal. I want to know what type of holster are you using to carry your HK? any suggestions?

I'm waiting for a new Taurus 709 pistol for CCW but there are some times and locations in Memphis that I will prefer to have my HK USP.

I carry a full size Sig in a OWB holster. Galco holsters; Holsters; Gun holster, pistol holsters, western holsters, shoulder holsters, leather holster and Glock holsters

Carry it with an untucked tee shirt or polo. At 3 oclock position

It may print from time to time, But that the beauty of TN HCP. it doesnt matter.

Pick up a Crossbreed or Comp-Tac for IWB. IMHO, they are the best bang for the buck.

I have a Crossbreed for the P30. While not a perfect fit for any one, it fits my P2kSK, USP45, and 45C well enough to carry. The profile is essentially the same, and belt tension makes up for the thickness differences.

For OWB, I would look for something that rides pretty high and tucks into your body.

totally agree with this. have both. love both. i'm 5'10, 200 lbs. disappears under a t shirt.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to give you an update on what I decided. After considering your suggestions and opinions I decided to go for a Blackhawk Serpa OWB to carry the HK USP 9. I use it during cold weather when I use a jacket. I selected the Serpa because don't wanted to spend too much money. Main carry gun is the Taurus SLim 709 with a Theis leather IWB.
