Beretta 92/96 Question

Is it possible to change a Beretta 96G decocker only to the FS model with the safety/ decocker? If so what parts are required?

Keinengel gave you the best advice. I believe that the conversion is possible, but wouldn't have a clue as to the specific parts required. I imagine that a 96 will be a little more difficult to convert than a 92.

I have had a 96FS since they first hit the shelves (low 200s serial number), and made considerable modifications when I was shooting competitions. The were always some odd parts that were hard to find.

Its my understanding that slides are interchangeable between the guns so you could always just look for a new top end. it might be a little more expensive but would require far less work.

Yes, it can be done. However find someone (me) who wants to trade a FS slide for a decocker slide and save time and money.
